Liva Pasha Mansion Ethnography Museum
The mansion, which was built by Mir Liva Sadik Pasha in 879-1881 as a harem with a greeting and a basement plus three floors, was converted into an ethnography museum in 1997. At the entrance of the museum, there are photographs of old images of Kastamonu on the ground floor. On the middle floor, which is used as a winter floor, there are wooden hand carving works reflecting Kastamonu handicrafts, weaving, saddle and harness making, printing, shoemaking, rope making and copper work. The upper floor, which was used as a summer floor, was arranged as a museum house, and the rooms in a mansion (bride's room, living room, daily rooms (men and women), guest room, head room) were revived.
