Manisa Cumhuriyet Turkish Bath
The building, which is one of the benefactors of Yakut Ağa and which today bears the name of Cumhuriyet Hamamı, was built in the 16th century. The front of the bath is arranged in the form of a row of shops. From the door of the women's section on the north façade, a large dome-covered dressing area with a fountain in the middle is entered. Washing rooms have a square plan. The door of the men's section is in the west direction. From here, a large dressing room covered with a dome is entered, and from this section, one can pass to the washing rooms covered with three domes and a vault with a short interval. The top cover is provided by classical tile covered domes and the eaves are arranged in the form of a hedgehog eaves.
