Mar Petyun Chaldean Church
Mar Petyun Chaldean Church is a historical Chaldean Catholic Church located in the Sur district of Diyarbakır in southeastern Turkey. Its church was built in the 17th century.
After the Assyrian Genocide, the community in the city decreased a lot. Today, the congregation of the Mar Petyun church, which is one of the two active churches in Diyarbakır, is approximately ten families. The church has no priest left and the priest comes from the Syriac Church once a month.
