Mazgirt Castle
It was established on a hill overlooking the district, in
the north of Mazgirt district center. Most of the castle walls, which were
largely destroyed, are still standing. The exact date of construction of the
castle is not known. There is a forty step ladder in front of the cave, which
is accessed through a cave. At the highest point of the castle, there are ruins
thought to be a pavilion and a windmill.
