Dating to the first quarter of the 12th century, the pointed arched entrance door in the center of the tomb is recessed into the façade. The building was built adjacent to the center of the south facade of the Great Mosque, which was also built by Melik Mehmet Gazi. The courtyard of the tomb, which is below the elevation level, is reached by stairs.
