Memed Abashidze House Museum

In memory of Memed Abashidze (Mehmed Abashidze), also known as Memed Beg, who was a Georgian political leader, writer and philanthropist who made efforts to raise the national consciousness of Muslim Georgians living in Adjara, his grandson Aslan, who became the president of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara on August 10, 1992. In this memorial house opened by Abashidze; There are more than 500 exhibits, including scientific research-based paintings, graphics, ethnographic items, photographs, and gifts from famous artists to the museum. It can be visited between 10:00 – 17:00 except Sunday and Monday.
