Mevlevi Mosque

It is in the center of Afyonkarahisar, in the Mevlana District. It is also known by the names of "Tomb" and "Mevlevi Mosque" among the people. It is surrounded by streets to the north, west and south, and houses to the east. There are two iron gates that enter the courtyard from the north and south. The northern gate is below, and the steps lead to the courtyard, and a second set of steps leads to the door of the mosque. The entrance of the mosque faces east. The main unit consists of the mausoleum, the semahane and the masjid, the sherbethane, the bacılar mahfili and the last congregation place. In addition, there are dervish cells, matbah-ı sherif, selamlık quarters, cemetery and harem rooms, but today there are no selamlik, cemetery and harem rooms.
