Monopetra Cliffs
The Monopetra Rocks, which rise like a castle in a forest in the Vize district, are also known as Bandit Rocks because they are known as a refuge for bandits in the region. The rocks were also used by the Turks for defense purposes. In Bulgarian, Monopetra means "one rock". There is an ancient trade route that reaches the Igneada Harbor just below the region with its rocks. Monopetra Rocks are located within the borders of Demirköy. Before coming to Pınarhisar, you must return to Poyralı Village and then reach Islambeyli and Yeniceköy. Then you will reach the point called Gendarmerie Tower. From here, you will reach the cliffs by following the Fair Road. Monopetra Cliffs are among the places to be visited in Kırklare, especially for trekkers. For this reason, we especially recommend those who walk to explore the natural beauties of Kırklareli to see this place.
