Moonlight Monastery

Moonlight Monastery, also known as Aydimitri Ta Selina in Greek, located on Cunda Island at the northernmost point of the Patriça Peninsula, is one of the historical places left by the Greeks after the population exchange. The monastery, which was idle because it was looted by treasure hunters during its period, is a building that was purchased by Suzan Sabancı Dinçer in 2012 and restored in 1923 in accordance with its final state and opened to visitors. Since it is located in the farthest corner of the island, the only transportation here is by personal vehicle.
