Museum of High Coffee Democracy

The historical building, which has been operating as a coffee house for more than a century and hosting important events, has been restored and turned into the "Democracy Museum" in Tokat. In addition to the political life of Tokat, the museum aims to reflect the democratic life of the country with photographs of some statesmen such as Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Fevzi Çakmak, İsmet İnönü, Celal Bayar, Adnan Menderes. The three-storey wooden building, located opposite the Behzat Mosque in the city center and used as a coffee house for 115 years, was used by some statesmen such as Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Fevzi Çakmak, İsmet İnönü, Celal Bayar, Adnan Menderes to hold meetings and address the public from its balcony.
