Nene Hatun Historical National Park
Nene Hatun is a heroic Turkish woman who became a symbol of courage thanks to the heroism she showed in the Aziziye Bastion during the war. The national park was named to commemorate this strong and special character. This area, where bastions, monuments and tombs are located, gained the status of a national park in 2009.
