Oltu Russian Church - Erzurum
Oltu Russian Church is located in the east of the city in Oltu district center. It is known that the building, which does not have an inscription on it, was built by the Russians between 1885-1890 after the 1877-1878 Ottoman-Russian war. The Oltu Russian Church consists of rectangular spaces located on both sides of the kiborion style dome, supported by rectangular legs measuring 32x15 meters. The long façades in the north and south are kept short. In the middle of the western façade, there are ornate, round-arched, slightly protruding entrance doors. With these entrances, the apse in the east was raised and the cross plan became more evident on the upper cover.
