Pasha Inn (Tashan)

One of the historical spots in Uşak, where you will see the effects of French architecture, is the Pasha Inn… The two-storey inn, which was built by a French architect by Tiritoğlu Mehmet Pasha in 1898, maintains its feature of being the first building where the cut stone technique and the tile system called Marseille tile is applied today. Pasha Inn, which plays an important role as one of the trade centers, is shown as one of the most important sightseeing spots of the city today. There are 30 shops lined up left and right inside the inn. It was built with a trapezoidal plan. The inn was strengthened with the restoration works carried out between 1990-1996. Today, the building serves in the concept of a hotel as a private enterprise.
