Pınarhisar Castle
Known to have been built in the 5th century, during the Byzantine period, Pınarhisar Castle underwent revisions during the Ottoman period and took its present form. It is thought that Cosmos Dimitriyadis was the one who made it. The castle is located on a hill in the north of the district where you can observe the surroundings. In the continuation of the castle, you can see the remains of the fortification walls descending to the town center. Today, the castle has been declared as a 3rd degree protected area and has been taken under protection.
