Pişirici Musjid and Kastel

Kastels are unique structures of Gaziantep water architecture. Kastel structures, which are only found in Gaziantep in Anatolian Turkish Architecture, were built to meet the water needs of the houses. The water distribution system was provided by means of livas.

The existence of common areas and common use structures is the most important indicator of civilization. Castle structures are important in this respect. Kastels are free baths and bath structures built for the common use of the public, operating on a single ship basis, connected by clean water channels.

Pişirici Kastel and Masjid is a 13th century building. Its purpose is to meet the water needs of the houses. Clean water and dirty water flow from separate chambers. January Castele was largely planned. Cut stone was used in the buildings. The toilet section is placed in the pointed arched openings. The January Kastel pool should have two sections.
