Pompeiopolis Ancient City
Pompeiopolis BC. It was founded by Pompeius in 65/64 as a city-state in the two provinces of Bithynia-Pontus on the east-west road crossing of the Amnias valley. The name of the city was named Pompeiopolis, derived from Pompeus, and this name means "City of Pompeius".
