Priene Ruins
Priene Ancient City is located on the slope of Samsun Mountain within the borders of Söke district of Aydın. Although the ancient city was on the coast when it was founded, today it is stuck in the middle of the land due to alluvium.
The ancient city has two magnificent and important historical structures. Priene Athena Temple and Athena Police Temple are among the most remarkable historical structures of the city.
