Queen Tamara Rooms
Its main central point, at an elevation of 60–70 meters, is described as a natural fortress and headquarters. The structures, located within an area 50 meters long, consist of two adjoining sections.
Combining historical and natural beauty, this site—known as the Tamara Chambers and dating back to the Middle Ages—can be reached via a trail maintained by the District Governor’s Office from the village of Aşağı Koyunlu in approximately a 2-hour walk. It is believed to have served as a retreat for clergy in the past.
Its main central point, at an elevation of 60–70 meters, is described as a natural fortress and command post. The structures, situated within an area 50 meters long, consist of two adjacent sections. Access to another section, located at an elevation of 30–40 meters, is impossible.
The Suatan Waterfall, which cascades from a height of 60 meters, is located 15 minutes away from here.
