Red Hall Basilica

Red Courtyard is a Roman temple in Pergamon, Turkey. The temple was built during the Roman Empire in the 2nd century AD, probably during the time of Hadrian. It is one of the largest Roman structures still standing in the ancient Greek world. It is thought that the temple was used for the worship of Egyptian gods, especially Isis, Serapis and possibly Osiris, Harpocrates and other lower gods. Red Courtyard took its name from the red bricks used in its construction. The temple was used as a prison during the Ottoman Period. One of these towers is currently used as a mosque. It can be said that the condition of the temple is good.
