Rüstem Pasha Mosque

It is located in the Cami-i Kebir neighborhood, on Sakarya Street, within the urban protected area of Osmaneli. In some sources about the construction date of the mosque; The years 1516-1522 and 1560-1565 are suggested. The construction of the mosque was started by Rüstem Pasha, the son-in-law and vizier of Suleiman the Magnificent, and upon the death of Rüstem Pasha, the minaret and roof of the mosque were completed by Rüstem Pasha's concubine. The architect of the mosque is Yüzgeç Mehmet Pasha, the foreman of Mimar Sinan. It was repaired by Keskinzade Elhac Ali Ağa.
