Şahindere Mülanım-ı Sani Mustafa Efendi Martyrdom

Şahindere Martyrdom, which is one of the real suspect graves that can be detected, is located on the left side of the road just above Çınarlıdere, after passing the Soğanlıdere locality. It is similar to Soğanlıdere Martyrdom in terms of architectural style. The rise of our martyrs to the sky is represented by the triangular conical monument rising on the moon and the star in the middle. Our martyrs are commemorated with 132 pumpkin stones placed on the ground in the cemetery. Just above the tombstones section, we see that the real martyrdom area is marked by turning. Şahindere Şüheda Cemetery is located on the Seddülbahir Front, that is, on the south side. Due to the presence of water and shady trees in the region and the fact that it is a quiet and sheltered area, one of the big bandages behind the front was established in this location during the war. Some of those who were martyred in the region, which was used in the Battles of Seddülbahir, Kerevizdere and Kirte, whose violence increased in April-June-July, were buried in Şahindere Martyrdom.

The unions to which those buried in this cemetery belong;

- 70th, 71st and 124th Infantry Regiments of the 1st Division

- 31st, 32nd and 39th Infantry Regiments of the 2nd Division

- 13th and 15th Infantry Regiments of the 5th Division

- 16th Infantry Regiment of the 6th Division

- 19th, 20th and 21st Infantry Regiments of the 7th Division

- 29th and 30th Infantry Regiments of the 10th Division

- 126th and 127th Infantry Regiments of the 11th Division.

About 2,000 of our martyrs whose names have been identified lie in this cemetery. The Martyrs' Cemetery was reorganized in 2005 by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
