Sakarya Battle Historical National Park

The monument erected in the Martyrs Kaşı area of Polatlı District in memory of the soldiers who were martyred during the Sakarya Pitched War was opened to visitors on 28 October 1973. Sakarya Martyrs' Monument; It consists of the monument body, the statues and the museum. The monumental body starts from the 915-altitude hill and narrows from the beginning, rising up to 970-altitude along the 420-stepped road. Columns on both sides of the road indicate that the war was won against superior enemy forces. At the end of the stairway, there are reliefs telling the story of the victory of the Turkish Army and the museum. In the museum; Documents and various photographs of the Battle of Sakarya are exhibited.
