Salim Mutlu Special War Memoirs Collection
Located at the entrance of Alçıtepe Village, the museum is the first private museum established on the peninsula.
Villagers living in the region are generally those who came with immigration in 1934 and later. After the war, the metal items found in the land were collected by the villagers and sold as scrap.
Salim Mutlu, who runs a grocery store in the village, has preserved his selection of these objects. He later turned his grocery store and house into a museum.
Salim Mutlu passed away in 2004. Currently, the administration of the museum is undertaken by his daughter and son-in-law.
The museum, which contains many objects and photographs from the war, must be seen.
