Selçikler Ruins (Sebaste)

The importance of Selcikler Ruins, which was founded by Emperor Augustus for the Romanization of Anatolia, dates back to the 6th century AD. The importance of the region continued until the 10th century AD. The remains of the first settlement in the region belong to the Bronze period. In the archaeological excavations, it is seen that the settlement in the region started in the Bronze Age and continued until the Roman and Byzantine periods.
