Şeyh Çabuk Mosque
Although the construction date of Şeyh Çabuk Mosque is not certain, it is highly likely that it gained its current identity in the 15th century. It was repaired twice in the 19th century. The mosque, which spreads over a very large area with garden walls that can be called a courtyard, gives a transverse plan, which is a kind of general feature of Mardin mosques and masjids. The main space consists of two transversely long naves covered with barrel vaults. The place covered with a cross vault on the south side is likely to be a tomb or a place of dhikr.
