Şeyh Muhammed Bedevi Tomb

The tomb, XIV. It is thought to have been built in the second half of the century. Also known as Sheikh Muahammed Rittali, Sheikh Muhammed Arabi, the structure to which the tomb belongs, has a square plan, four arches and a pointed dome. It has one window in the east and west direction and two in the south direction. Inside, there is a wooden chest covered with a green cloth. There is no inscription on the sarcophagus to indicate its identity. However, Evliya Çelebi said: “There is a big lodge in the west of the city. Here lies a famous person named Sheikh Muhammed Arab-i and Rıttal-i from the Companions of the Companions…” It is understood that the sarcophagus in this tomb belongs to a famous Companion named Sheikh Muhammed Arabi and Rıttal. This person, who served as date distributor in war and peace, Hz. It is known that during the caliphate of Omar, he came to this region with the Islamic army under the command of Abu Ubeyde Bin Jarrah and was martyred here in 639.
