Seyit Mehmet Ağa Mosque

Seyit Mehmet Ağa Mosque is a mosque located in the village of Lapta, Cyprus. It was built in the middle of the 17th century, during the Ottoman period. The mosque, which was built of cut stone, has several arches. The minaret of the mosque, which was damaged in the conflicts in the 1960s and 1970s, was completely destroyed. For this reason, a new minaret was built in 1976.
