Sıbyan School
It is in the village of Karacaören, 30 km from the town centre.
The construction of the school started in 1904 by the order of Sultan Abdulhamid II, but was completed in 1928. During the Ottoman period, it was used as a primary school where children were educated. Religious knowledge and reading and writing were taught in the school. In other words, it was used as a neighborhood school. The first graduates were given between 1928-1931 after 3 years of education. It was built by using rubble stone and filling technique. Cut stone was used in the corners, door and window arches. It has an inverted "T" plan from the outside. It is reached by a two-step stone staircase. Later, it was reopened in 2015 by Zübeyin Kemelek. Today it is used as a village mansion.
