Sircali Madrasa
Sırçalı Madrasa was used as a madrasa during the Seljuk and Ottoman periods. The student rooms of the madrasah, which was abandoned in the 19th century, were demolished. In the 19th century, education continued in these rooms made of adobe.
The madrasa was restored and protected in 1954 and opened to visitors in 1960 as the "Grave Monuments" section of the Konya Museum. In 1969, the Ministry of Culture was restored by the Ministry of Culture in accordance with its original form.
The catacomb belonging to the Byzantine Period, which was under the ground in the garden of the museum, which was restored between the years 1988-1990 and was renewed by displaying, was also repaired and opened to visitors. In the Sırçalı Madrasa Grave Monuments Museum, tombstones belonging to the Seljuk, Karamanoğlu and Ottoman Periods, which are valuable in terms of history and art history, collected from cemeteries, most of which have disappeared over time, are exhibited.
