Sultan Divani Mevlevihane Museum
Sultan Divani Mevlevihanesi, which was founded in the 13th century, is one of the first Mevlevihanes established in Anatolia. The tradition of “Healing Ashura with 40 Hatims” started in this Mevlevihane. There are also dervishes' rooms and cemeteries in its garden. After the great fire, it was restored by the Municipality of Afyonkarahisar and opened to use as a museum. The Sultan Divani Mevlevi Lodge, located in Afyonkarahisar Central Urban Site, is accessible by public transport.
