The builder and the date of construction of the building, which is located in the Su İçmez District of Tokat city center, are unknown. It is accepted that the building, which is dated to the beginning of the 13th century according to its plan features, took its present appearance in 1976 during the repair made in the dressing room. The building, built on a rectangular area in the north-south direction, is in the group of double baths. The men's section has four iwans and four private rooms; The women's section is in plan type with three iwans and three private rooms. The sections that are symmetrical to each other are ordered from north to south as dressing rooms, cold rooms, temperatures, water tanks and furnaces. It is understood from the old photographs that the dressing room of the men's section, which is covered with a reinforced concrete pyramidal roof, was originally covered with a dome. Transverse rectangular coldness; The dome in the middle and the ones on the sides consist of three parts covered with mirrored vaults. The iwans of the hot room are covered with half domes and the private rooms are covered with domes with squinches. The dressing room of the women's section, which is entered through the door on the west front, was also changed during the repair and covered with a reinforced concrete pyramidal roof. The rectangular planned standoff consists of two domed spaces. The iwans of the warm room are covered with star vaults, and the private rooms are covered with a dome with a squinch pass. The bath with elephant eyes on its domes was built entirely with materials .
