Taksiyarhis Memorial Museum
The church, built in 1847, draws attention with its non-flowing, inlaid garlic stones. Its location is the first quarter of the city where Christians and Muslims live together. The surrounding street texture and neo-classical civil architectural texture are in harmony with the typical houses. The church is worth seeing with its architectural features, interior marble work, ceiling decorations with religious subjects, pictures showing the life of Jesus from his birth until his death, and portraits of saints made of fish skin. The restoration of the church was completed by our Ministry as of 2013 and it was opened to visitors as a Memorial Museum.
