Tavanlı Mosque
It is one of the typical roofed mosques in Trabzon. It was built by Nemlizade's in 1874. A worker's workmanship can be seen on the thick stone walls. There is a wooden mahfil at the entrance of the sanctuary. The illumination of the mosque is provided by windows on all facades. Stone mihrab borders stand out as reliefs with trees and curved branches coming out of the vase. The pulpit is kept simple. The wooden ceiling of the harim also has a middle hub.
