It is in the middle of the Uzunköprü bazaar, in the square called by its name. Although the exact date of construction is unknown, it is thought to have been built in the 1800s. The water of the fountain Sultan II. It was provided from the water network that Murat had brought. It was taken from its original place in 1960 and moved to its current location 4-5 meters away. Today, the fountain, which has two taps, is made of a single piece of solid marble with 4 taps. The top of the fountain, which also has a marble trough, is decorated with curved branches, rumis, stalactite-fringed ornaments, cypress and the now extinct Istanbul tulip motifs, which have the same characteristics as the Tulip Age decorations. It is a very valuable work in terms of art history. Unfortunately, during the 1920-1922 Greek Occupation, these decorations and the inscriptions on the four sides of the fountain were engraved. For this reason, the information about the date of construction and by whom it was built was erased, and only traces of the decorations remained.
