The Tomb of Her Holiness Hasan Sezai
He is one of the Islamic scholars and saints. His name is Hasan Bin Ali and his pseudonym is Sezai. At the same time, he is the second sheikh of the Gülşeni sect and one of its Sufis. He is known for his work called Letters. Hasan Sezai is the grandson of Kurt Beyzade Hüseyin and the son of Ali Bey, one of the notables of Gördes town of the Peloponnese peninsula, which was under Ottoman rule during his lifetime. He was born in 1699 in Gördes. The dervish lodge, which was affiliated to the branch of the Halveti sect (Gülşeni-Sezai), was built by Şah Melek Bey in H.892 / M.1486 together with its mosque. Mosque, tomb, fountain, fountain and graveyard have reached. These structures are located in a courtyard surrounded by a garden wall from the east, north and south directions. The entrance to the courtyard where the lodge is located is through a door in the middle of the two tombs (Hasan Sezai, La'li Fenai and Aşık Efendi tombs) on the western side of the courtyard wall. Horizontal rectangular H. 1151/M. There is a repair inscription dated 1738. There is a rosebezek motif on the arch corners of the door, which is reached by two steps. Of these, it belongs to Hasan Sezai in the south and to La'li Fenai Efendi and Aşık Efendi, who were the sheikhs of the lodge in the north. The building, which was known to have been a vegetable shop in the past, was converted into a tomb in 1738 upon Hasan Sezai Efendi's will. The structure, which was built with a rectangular plan and planed smooth cut stone, is covered with a pendentive dome. There is a rectangular window on the east side of the tomb and a door on the right. The door is jamb. The keystone of the arch has a passionflower motif, and there are ornaments made of rose branches on the corners of the arch. There is Hasan Sezai's monogram on a square marble slab just above the door. There is a semicircular mihrab niche in the middle of the south wall of the tomb, and a cabinet niche with a rectangular section and a round arch just to the east of it. The inner wall surfaces of the tomb and the dome are completely plastered and painted.
