The Tomb of Her Holiness Piri Sami
He was born in Selüke (¥eşilçay) Village of Erzincan. His father is Kırtılzade İbrahim Efendi. He took his first lessons from Hâce Mustafa Fehmi Edendi, the caliph of Muhammad Vehbi Hayat. Later, he went to Istanbul and studied science in Fatih Madrasa. He got permission and became a professor. While he was a teacher in the Hınıs district of Erzurum, he left his official position in 1882 and went to Nörşin (Güroymak) and took Nakşi lessons from Abdurrahman - i Tagi. In 1883, he founded the Kırtıloğlu lodge where his tomb is located today. In 1897, he first stayed in Istanbul as a guest of Sultan Abdulhamid Han's palace for 2 days and met with 90 of his followers. They did not accept the gifts presented by Sultan Abdulhamid Han. Then they went on Hajj. After returning from the pilgrimage, he continued his mission of guidance in Erzincan and trained thousands of students. He rendered great service. He migrated to the realm of perpetuity in 1912.
