Tripolis Ancient City
It is understood that the ancient city was founded on the plain extending from north to south, according to the geographical structure of the land. Some building remains can be observed on the surface. The remains on the surface show features of the Roman and Byzantine periods. It is estimated that most of the remains are under the ground, since no archaeological excavations have been carried out in the ancient city.
