Trojan Horse

Belonging to Greek mythology; High horse statue made of steel and fiberglass, used in the movie "Troy" in 2004. The Trojan horse is a wooden horse model that Odysseus had built to overcome the walls of Troy and sneak into the city. The war has been going on for about 10 years. The soldiers are bored and tired. Odysseus, who was also loved by Athena thanks to his intelligence, came up with the idea of making a wooden horse. According to the plan, the Achaeans appear to be withdrawing from the war and leave a very large wooden horse behind. While Odysseus and other distinguished commanders hide inside the horse, the others go to sea and hide the ships behind Tenedos, where the Trojans cannot see them. In order for the plan to work, they leave an Achaean soldier next to the horse, whose duty is to ensure that the wooden horse enters the walls of Troy. Seeing the Achaeans withdrawing, the Trojans go to the giant wooden horse in front of the western gate in astonishment. Meanwhile, the Achaean soldier named Sinon appears and says that she hates the Greeks, that they chose her as a sacrifice to create the necessary wind for the return of the Achaeans, and that she escaped by running away. The wooden horse was made as a sacred altar to Goddess Athena. The reason why it is so big is to prevent the Trojans from taking it into the city through the narrow city gates. The Achaeans' expectation is that the Trojans will burn this horse and destroy it. Thus, they will attract the anger of Goddess Athena on Troy. But if the Trojans take the horse into the city and protect it, Athena's blessing will be directed to the Trojans.
