Ulu Cami (Grand Mosque of Bursa)

Bursa Ulu Mosque was built between 1396-1400 during the reign of Yıldırım Bayezid, in the place where Orhan Gazi Park is located. It is the first multi-domed monumental Ottoman mosque. There are twenty-four large two-person domes on the Ulu Mosque. After Yıldırım Bayezid's 1396 victory in Niğbolu, the construction of the Great Mosque was started. After the construction of the mosque, the firsts, Yıldırım Bayezid, Molla Fenari, and Emir Sultan were claimed by Somuncu Baba. The first of the Ulu Mosque is the author of Mevlid, Süleyman Çelebi.
