Uluumay Ottoman Folk Clothing and Jewelry Museum
The Uluumay Foundation Ottoman Folk Clothing and Jewelry Collection consists of 18 different collections collected by Esat Uluumay, a collector, folklorist and folklore researcher.
Located in the buffer zone of the Muradiye Complex, which is included in the Unesco Cultural Heritage List, the collection is located in the Şair Ahmet Pasha Madrasa, and was opened to visitors on September 18, 2004. In the collection, Esat Ulumay, one of the founding members of the Anatolian Folklore Foundation, gathered all original folk clothes, silver folk jewelry, coffee culture, Turkish bath, from the entire Ottoman geography from the Caucasus to Hungary, from Iraq to Yemen, with his own research and efforts. , Horse riding and harnesses, musical instruments and rare examples of folk arts are on display.
