Urartu Cemetery
During the research conducted by Hakkari University, the graves of the Urartians were found. It is estimated that this three-room cemetery belongs to the 1000s BC. The cemetery, which was created in the millennium BC, is similar to the Early Iron Age. Plans similar to the burial chamber here were unearthed during the Van Karagündüz Necropolis excavations. The cemetery was published as "Hergöl Rock Cemetery".
