Vezirköprü Deer Farm

The Deer Breeding Farm is an area of 83.5 hectares in Kunduz Mountain in Vezirköprü District of Samsun Province (approximately 70 km away from the district center), which looks like a giant zoo and contains only Red Deer. This project, which was carried out in response to the lack of red deer in nature, has produced a total of 35 red deer, 6 males, 18 females and 11 fawns, as of 2013, and 7 deer were released into the wild in 2012. The Deer Breeding Farm is unique in the Black Sea Region.
