Weaving House
The Dokur House, the restoration of which was completed by Uşak Municipality by preserving the original materials and replacing the decayed, deformed and deformed structural elements, started to operate in 2010 under the name of “Uşak Municipality Dokur House Traditional Handicrafts Carpet Making Center” in accordance with its 180 years of history. There are 40 carpet looms in Dokur House. In Dokur House, which hosts courses both within Uşak Municipality and jointly with Uşak Municipality, Turkish Employment Agency and Public Education Center, the art of carpet weaving, one of the oldest handicrafts in history, is kept alive with Uşak carpets, which date back to the Seljuks and are often depicted in the paintings of European painters.
