Yılanlı Mosque
The Yılanlı Mosque and Complex, located in Kastamonu, is one of the stamps of the Turkish-Islamic Civilization, which was established on these lands 8 centuries ago. It is understood from the inscription of the Yılanlı Complex that it was built in the last period of the Anatolian Seljuk State (1273). During the Ottoman Period, the building, in which the mosque, fountain, tombs and mansion were located, was named "Darü'ş-Şifa" in the Seljuk and Ottoman centuries and was used as the Faculty of Medicine (hospital). Those who want to study in the field of medicine have been educated here. The Yılanlı Complex, which is owned by the Aldülfettah Mosque and Outbuildings Foundation and was built by Ali, the son of Süleyman, the ruler of the Pervaneoğulları Principality, today consists of the Darü'ş-Şifa Gate, the Mosque and the fountains.
