Yıldırım Bayezıd Mosque
The building, which is called the old mosque among the people, was built by Yıldırım Bayezid in 1388. In addition to being the first Ottoman work in the city; It is also of great importance as it is the first and only 'Selaatin' mosque built by the Sultan. It was the largest mosque in the city until the Pasha Mosque was built in 1461.
Yıldırım Beyazıt Mosque is located in the center of the complex, which consists of a madrasa, Turkish bath and guest house, in the neighborhood where it is named, and still serves as a place of worship.
