Yildirim Beyazit Turkish Bath

It is located in Mudurnu Mahallesi, Büyükcami Mahallesi, block 44, parcel 1. It is opposite the Yıldırım Bayezit Mosque. According to the inscription on the entrance door of the men's section and the summary of the foundation, it was built by Yıldırım Beyazıt in 784 A.H. In the double bath style, there is a men's locker in the east and a women's locker in the west. In the whole of the building, the walls were made of rubble stone, only the eaves moldings, cut stones and the joints of the stones were made. The walls on the entrance facade are quite thick, the entrance is in the form of a corridor between these thick walls, and the door is decorated with muqarnas. The top of the dome, which is cylindrical and then hidden in an octagonal drum rising on the square planned main walls, is covered with a pyramid-shaped flat tile roof. There are large iwans on the east and west facades of the warm section.

In the special cell that opens to the warm room of the men's section, there are feet with muqarnas starting from the middle of the four sides. The locker room of the women's section is close to the square and has a rectangular plan and wooden ceiling. There is a warm room covered with a dome in the middle, two iwans and special mahfils on the sides. With the recent repairs, the wall stones outside the crown door have been changed to a large extent. It continues to function as a bath.
