Yolbaşı Mosque

Yolbaşı Mosque is located in Soğukpınar Mahallesi Bey Street. According to the inscription on the entrance door; It was built and repaired by Katipzâde Tahir Efendi between H.1339 and H.1342. The square-planned, single-spaced sanctuary is covered with a dome with squinches. In front of the entrance door on the north façade, there is a porch resting on two spolia columns. The mihrab on the south wall and the wooden pulpit on its right are kept very simple. In the north, there is a wooden women's gathering place. The minaret of the mosque; It is one of the wooden minarets of the late 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, which is common in Tokat, with a short body and balcony-shaped balcony rising on the roof.
