Yoros Castle
Yoros Castle is a castle from the Eastern Roman period on the Anadolu Kavağı ridge in Istanbul. After the empire weakened, it fell into the hands of the Genoese and remained in their hands for a long time; hence the belief that it was a Genoese fortress was born. The area covered by the castle is much larger than the area covered by all the other castles around Istanbul.
