Zağ Caves

Zağ Cave is located in the Solhan district of Bingöl. The cave has three floors and consists of 78 rooms. There are man-made paintings and figures in the cave, which is carved into rocks 200 to 300 meters high.

The first floor of the cave was used as a warehouse and the second floor was used as a sitting place. The third floor is called the harem floor. The king lived on this floor with his wives. There are round chimneys between each floor. These chimneys assist the transition system. Cave lifestyle BC. It reflects the 5th century Christian Period.
