Zinciriye Madrasa

Zinciriye Madrasa was built by Yahşi Bey from Karamanoğulları in 1336. The madrasah, which was built using local cut stone and brick, has a madrasah plan with four iwans and an open courtyard. The portal is decorated with plastic Seljuk motifs, continuing the Seljuk tradition, and the iwans are decorated with vegetal and geometric shapes. Another feature of the madrasah is that it looks like a castle due to the dendanes on its outer walls.
